| Bio |
| Annabelle Mège lives and works in Paris, near Montmartre. Even as a young child she aspired to illustrate books. The day she was awarded her graphic arts diploma, she met one of the members of the awards committee, the illustrator, Emmanuel Kerner, who was later to show her the ins and outs of the profession. She devoures children’s books and nourishes herself on sushi, cheesecake and tea with soy milk which she takes in the company of her Guinea Pigs, dear friends. In 2008, she illustrated Jeux de langue, written by Irène Coran 1001 activités autour du cinéma (written by Pierre Lecarme) for the publishing house, Casterman, Je m'amuse et j'apprends - mots mêlés In 2007 for the publishing house, Lito, Recherche toi désespérément et en 2006, 100% sudoku still for Lito. She works regularly for Bayard press (Youpi, I love English) and Turbulence press (Boule and Bill magazine). Furthermore, she has just started textile illustrations. |
