| By chance Sophie Adde found herself in Beijing. She returned with her head full of lotus flowers and indelible visual memories. Since then, she travels throughout the world with big empty sacks to return with one thousand and one marvels to create her fabulous little corners of paradise, gentle invitations to voyage. |

| Biography |
| Sophie Adde lives and works in Pantin, just outside of Paris. After obtaining a masters degree in visual arts from the Sorbonne in Paris, she began her life as a painter. For seven years textile design lead her to create decorative motifs from flowers and color combinations. Since then, as soon as she starts to paint, she thinks about a piece of tissue she might have found in the back of an Indian shop. |
